We have been working hard in Cardiff City Centre targeting illegal e-bikes and electric scooters.

On 26th February 2026 officers stopped 40 bikes and seized 7 illegal MPVs throughout City Centre. 

Please remember:

-No cycling on QUEEN STREET, CARDIFF CITY CENTRE.

-Check if your bike meets the legal requirements. (information leaflet attached below)

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.
